For over 25 years, Magnitude Accounting Partners (formerly Sam Matheou & Company Pty Ltd) have been assisting individuals and businesses in achieving financial success and peace of mind. We focus on nurturing long term relationships built on trust and take the time to understand the unique situation and objectives of our clients.
Our managing director, Sam Matheou (FCPA), has been in private practice on the Gold Coast for close to 30 years. In 2021, Magnitude Accounting Partners was created through a strategic partnership between Sam Matheou & Company and Sun Private Wealth.
Sam has been a qualified CPA for over 30 years and is the managing director of Magnitude Accounting Partners.
Sam’s background is in both personal and business accounting with a vast knowledge and experience in a number of industry sectors. Sam’s expertise and focus is in dealing with tax compliance and tax consulting matters for small to medium sized businesses.
Jan has been a CPA for over 35 years and has been a valued member of the Magnitude team for over 6 years.
Jan initially commenced her career in the private sector focusing in the areas of Property Development, Real Estate and Hotel industries before moving into Public Practice.
Belinda has been a CPA since 2017 and joined the Magnitude team in 2018. She is a graduate of Griffith University completing a Bachelor of Business (Accounting Major) in 2010.
Belinda has gained an extensive knowledge and understanding of the Australian tax system and is happy to assist with your accounting needs.
Nick is a qualified CPA and has completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting.
Before joining the Magnitude team in 2020, Nick gained extensive experience at one of the Gold Coasts largest accounting firms where he focused primarily on tax compliance. Nick also has experience working as a management accountant within SME businesses and has previously worked with the Education, Retail, Private Equity, Construction and Technology industries.
Nick holds his SMSF Specialist Advisor designation through the SMSF Association of Australia.
Jennie joined the Magnitude team in January 2010.
She has vast experience working in both small and large accounting firms which have focused on the Pharmaceutical, Printing and Event Management industries.
Amanda joined the Magnitude team in 2022 and has worked in Accounting and Administration roles for over 30 years.
She is a Registered BAS Agent with a Certificate IV in Accounting and is a Qualified Justice of the Peace. Amanda has gained a wide variety of experience working within administration, operations, tax compliance and bookkeeping roles.
